Good afternoon friends. In my last post I discussed the coming decade:
- A New World Order
- Kings, No Kings and the King of Kings
- Trade, Tariffs and the Stable Coin Gambit
- Crisis: The End of Globalization, The Twilight Wars and The Great Reset (2013-2027)
One item I did not mention at all is the 2024 election cycle in the United States. The reason it was not addressed is that, in my opinion, it really doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things. Some think it’s “The Most Important Election of Our Lifetime”. Clearly, it’s not. Why? The outcome is the same no matter of Biden wins a second term or if Trump wins a second term: Chaos

A Biden victory assures no material change in direction for Cabinet appointments impacting immigration, spending, taxes, economic factors. Most likely both the House and Senate go Republican majorities. Stalemate will replace moderate progress, continuing gridlock with government shutdowns imminent. Wars in Ukraine and Gaza continue, with the former until there is a break in a side, the latter until Hamas is decimated. Pro-Palestinian protests continue. Assault on traditional values continue at the Executive Branch, held back by Congress and the Courts. It’s a tough job and ages Presidential occupants at an alarming rate. We will end the four years with Biden at 85+ years old, assuming he makes it that far.

A Trump victory will see the return of Black Lives Matter type unrest and continued social and political upheaval in protest of perceived authoritarian tendencies. Democracy is not under threat, but the mainstream media complex will attempt to say anything and everything to make the Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) citizens feel like Trump is out of control. The border and immigration will be a flashpoint. Energy will be a flashpoint. Trump will attempt to bring Ukrainian and Gaza wars to an end. Contrary to the media narrative, Putin is not a Trump supporter and most likely believes he is more unpredictable than Biden. Trump may have Congress on his side the first two years, but usually that is short lived and the Democrats will come back in House seats at least in 2026. The end of a second Trump Administration will end with a struggle globally over monetary and fiscal policies due to the entire global economic model coming undone. The Eurozone will most likely come apart. Russia and China may expand, but most likely will not continue or collapse. Additional “death throes” may come as Europe and Asia have to regroup after the final end of globalization as we knew it. Maybe cryptocurrency will emerge, maybe a new leg for the US Dollar as the reserve currency. Only time will tell.

TDS in full bloom
And so we are eight months from the Presidential election. The choice is clear.
Chaos on the Left or Chaos on the Right.
